Calling all youths!

The Brunei Youth Council (BYC) is inviting everyone to participate in the upcoming 11th ASEAN Youth Forum that is slated to take place from 5 – 27 August 2021 in conjunction with the National Youth Day.

Holding the theme “Future Ready in the New Normal”, this edition of the forum is aimed at formulating ideas and recommendations on how to elevate the role of ASEAN youth.

Especially in realising sustainable development and ensuring preparedness of ASEAN youth for future challenges such as the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and opportunities such as entrepreneurship with regards to the new normal and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The forum is open to ASEAN citizens and permanent residents between 18 and 30 years old.

The forum will be a hybrid event, joined physically by participants from Brunei Darussalam at the International Convention Centre (ICC) and the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas whilst delegates from other ASEAN member states will be joining virtually via a web platform.

The ASEAN Youth Forum aims to be the voice of youths where participants will be able to produce their own research and present their findings based on the respective theme.
