BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN
ONE hundred and thirty four loan applications have been received by the Bank Usahawan, 11 of which are applicants from the agricultural sector since it began operations earlier this year.
Second minister of finance YB Dato Seri Paduka Dr Hj Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah made the report in his budget speech earlier this week.
He explained that the bank’s role is to provide loan facilities for local MSMEs, and to assist them through consultations.
He also welcomed qualified farmers to apply for loans at the Bank Usahawan – as the agricultural sector is also within its scope.
