Pusat Ehsan yesterday received a $5,000 donation from Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru), Tele Directories (Yellow Pages), Daikyo Environmental Recycling and Makan Ceria, through a TelBru-led programme dubbed “Yellow Pages Recycling Initiative”.
The mock cheques were presented to the centre’s Policy and Planning Trustee Haji Ahmad Haji Abdul Rahman in a ceremony held at McDonald’s in Jerudong.
“TelBru aims to support the various aspects of children’s welfare, including but not limited to special needs and disadvantaged children/youth,” said TelBru Chief Corporate Services Officer Hajah Rosmawati Hj Manaf in her opening remarks.
“We hope that this event, is the start of many collaborations between TelBru and private sectors,” she added.
Also present at the handover ceremony were Yellow Pages Managing Director James Lee and Daikyo Environmental Managing Director Hung Ah Hing.
