Five BIBD Aspirasi 2 quarterly winners went home happy on Friday as they received a collective total of $50,000, with each winner bringing home $10,000.

The winners were chosen from customers who had subscribed to BIBD Aspirasi 2, with a minimum holding period of 90 day, in an event that took place recently at the Tarindak D’Seni in the capital.

Luck was shining on Datin Dr Hjh Shanthy Nanoo when her name and account numbers appeared on the screen as one of the quarterly winners.

In an interview with The Bruneian, the retired medical professional was exuberant at the announcement.

She expressed her gratitude having took part in the campaign and is looking forward to spending the prize with her family as well as to donate a portion of her winnings to the less fortunate.

On his part, luck struck twice for retiree Lim Thing Bee who won his second BIBD Aspirasi. He was all smiles when he saw his name on the screen and is looking share the rewards with his wife.

BIBD also awarded a total of 35 winners with $1,000 each as part of the campaign’s ninth monthly draw.

Prizes of the Aspirasi quarterly draw, initiated by the Deputy Chairman of BIBD Shariah Advisory Body, Dr Abdul Nasir Haji Abdul Rani, was handed over by Acting Chief Operating Officer of BIBD, Haji Minorhadi Haji Mirhassan.

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the closed-door event was held in a manner that would help curb the spread of the virus and was in full observance of the guidelines on mass gatherings by the Ministry of Health.

To be eligible for the grand draw, customers must subscribe to BIBD Aspirasi 2 for a minimum of 90 days prior to the draw, therefore those who have not yet subscribed are advised to do so.

The last date to be eligible for the rewards in this campaign will be on August 31, 2020 and customers are encouraged to subscribe before the mentioned date.

The current BIBD Aspirasi 2 Rewards programme will conclude with a grand draw of B$250,000.

To date, for the current BIBD Aspirasi 2 campaign, BIBD has already awarded a total of $465,000 in prize winnings to 330 winners including subscribers carried over from the previous Aspirasi 1 campaign.
