Brunei’s Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry (AITI) recently organised a seminar to promote the adoption of new digital technologies among businesses to improve their productivity and operations.

Dubbed the ‘Emerging Technology Opportunities Seminar’, the event held at AITI headquarters in Anggerek Desa featured talks by several experts including ICT organisation Beyond Tomorrow’s Marketing Director Reuben Chiew and Mahir Digital’s Ashley Ong.

Topics covered at the seminar include emerging technologies in the 4th industrial revolution as well as their impacts on industries. The forum also discussed Brunei’s stand in the adoption of these technologies, skills development and digital maturity.

There was also a demonstration of ‘Future of Smart Home’.

AITI hoped the seminar would give its audience an insight on how digital technology can improve their operational efficiency as well as innovate their products and services to penetrate the global market, and upscale their businesses to contribute well to the digital economy.
