Boustead, the sole distributor of Nissan in Brunei recently debuted the latest Nissan Almera at the AutoMagination showroom in Lambak Kanan.
First introduced nine years ago, the fourth generation has evolved bringing greater efficiency to its well-earned reputation for its performance and style.

From the outside, the all-new Almera offers plenty to be amazed by in terms of styling.
The sedan ditches its conservative look to a more significantly dynamic and polarizing look compared to the model it replaces.
The Almera wears its signature ‘V-Motion’ grille loud and proud, dominating the front end of the sedan, making it sleeker and stylish.

Furthermore, the rear of the sedan has a more angular and edgier look compared to its bulbous predecessor with its arrow-shaped LED backlights and strong presence.

From the driver’s seat, it strikes a good balance between comfort and support with decent adjustment ranges during the entire duration of our time behind the wheel.

Leisure driving around town
The Bruneian had a chance to test out the full performance and capability of the All-new Almera outside the showroom.
The team took the Nissan Almera to five locations: The AutoMagination Showroom in Lambak Kanan, Lugu Lake, McDonalds Gadong, Eco Corridor, The Rizqun Hotel and back.
Each letter of location cleverly spells out ALMERA.
Driving on a range of roads from highways to the narrow, busy roads, the Almera feels smooth and serene when cruising. The sedan was perfectly stable and planted which inspired confidence from behind the wheel.
While the Almera is not an off-road vehicle, it does boast optimal road performance and road-holding capabilities throughout the drive.
Moreover, along twist and turns of the Lugu road body roll is minimal and safety does not feel compromised on every corner we came throughout. The bump absorption was also impressive on rocky roads.
But it was on the Tutong – Jerudong highway, where we got to test out the full performance of its new 1.0 liter turbo engine.
We spent the majority of our time on the fast lane, moving along effortlessly with the cars around us turning heads. We stood out among the rest with the vibrant Radiant Red colour of our Nissan Almera
Although small in size, the 1.0-litre turbo engine goes almost, if not as brilliantly in performance – full of muscle with decent fuel economy.
Furthermore, transitioning to Sport mode proved the Almera’s dynamic ability to make the most of the roads.
Moreover, the maneuverability through the packed and full of pedestrians roads of Gadong felt sound and secure thanks to the Almera’s various high-tech features, including its automatic energy braking and Intelligent Around View Monitor.
As for the passengers, they were more thankful for the Almera’s spacious cabin and comfortable seats as we sat in the three-hour drive.
All-in-all, the all-new Almera offers affordability for customers who are looking for cutting-edge technology and a seamless driving experience and a more comfortable journey.
