Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) has red-flagged three more companies and added them into its existing watchlist.

In its press statement today, the central bank said it has included Bitclub, BruXM and BlackoutFX to its Alert List as of December last year.

The AMBD Alert List is a list of individuals, companies and websites that are neither authorised nor approved under the relevant laws and regulations administered by the authority, or whose activities raise suspicion over illegal financial activities.

The list is made without prejudice to any further assessment by AMBD regarding the activities of the companies concerned.  Members of the public can access this watchlist via the central bank’s website.

AMBD said it will remain committed to ensuring financial stability to the country and will continue to actively monitor any suspicious or unlicensed financial activities in Brunei.

Members of the public who have information on unlicensed financial activities are urged to report them to the central bank at 2380007 or email fci@ambd.gov.bn.
