Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) recently handed over a total of $50,000 to five winners of the second quarterly draw of the BIBD Aspirasi 2 Reward Campaign.

The winners are customers who subscribed to BIBD Aspirasi 2 with a minimum holding period of 90 days and each taking home $10,000.

The quarterly winners were decided during a live draw event on May 29, officiated by the Deputy Managing Director of BIBD, Hajah Noraini Haji Sulaiman, witnessed by representatives from the BIBD Shariah Division and Compliance Division.

On May 22, BIBD also awarded a total of 35 winners with $1,000 each as part of the campaign’s sixth monthly draw.

Prizes of the Aspirasi quarterly draw were handed over by BIBD’s Acting Head of Retail Banking Irwan Lamit during an event held in the Perdana Lounge at the BIBD Kiulap Branch.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was held in a manner to minimise the risk of the virus and in full observance of the guidelines on mass gathering by the health ministry.

To be eligible for the grand draw, customers must subscribe to BIBD Aspirasi 2 for a minimum of 90 days prior to the draw, therefore those who have not yet subscribed are advised to do so.

The current BIBD Aspirasi 2 Rewards Program will come to an end with the grand draw of B$250,000.

As of May, BIBD has already awarded a total of $310,000 in prize winnings to subscribers of the current Aspirasi 2 campaign.

The last date to be eligible for rewards in this campaign will be on August 31 and customers are encouraged to subscribe before the date.

BIBD Aspirasi, another one of its first introduced to the nation – has made the discipline of savings easier, more accessible and more convenient for its customers as subscriptions and redemptions can be made directly through the BIBD mobile application, BIBD NEXGEN Wallet.

This has helped customers create a savings discipline that BIBD hopes will become a habit and will elevate the nation’s savings culture to a level that will be able to help them sustain their needs at every stage of their lives.
