QAF Auto today handed over four all-new BMW vehicles to the Pakistan High Commission for the upcoming Pakistan Polo Cup 2018.
The BMW models are two units of 530i M Sport, a 530i Luxury and an X5 xDrive35i which will be used to assist the arrival of Pakistani polo players and accommodate their transportation during their stay in the sultanate.
The German auto dealer is the official transportation provider for the sports event which is slated to take place on July 8 at The Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club in Jerudong.
The BMW Brunei team handed over the car keys to Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner and Counselor of the High Commission Ahmed Ali Sirohey, along with the cars.
Franco Tulusianto, the sales manager of QAF Auto, said that the automobile group is elated to be partaking in the event and happy to see different nations coming together for a mutual cause.
“Sports breaks the racial barriers and differences and QAF Auto is proud to be contributing to an event that brings people of similar passion together,” he said.
On his part, Ahmed Ali Sirohey expressed his appreciation to the premium brand for offering the vehicles to support the Polo match.
The one-day friendly match will be played by the Pakistani players from the Pakistan Army Polo Team against the Brunei Polo Team.
The BMW group has been actively engaging with different stakeholders in the society so as to strengthen relationships.
QAF Auto has been the official transportation provider for other major events in the sultanate such as the APEC meeting in 2000, the ASEAN Summit in 2013, the Golden Jubilee of His Majesty in 2017 and most recently the ASEAN NTO meetings.
