Royal Skies recently launched the “Brisbane Week Menu” with Alter Ego Fusion Cafe, offering special three-course brunch and dinner to celebrate the recommencement of Royal Brunei Airlines’ flight to Brisbane.

The Australian-themed meals which are available until July 19 contains the finest Australian produce, as well as Alter Ego’s interpretation of staple Aussie dishes.

The Brisbane Week Menu combines the flavours, textures and aromas of Australia creating an authentic gastronomic experience for customers.

Brunch is priced starting from $23 per person with any choice of drinks, available from 11.30am until 1.30pm.

For one of the main courses, customers can dine on the Angus Steak and Egg, a classic brunch favorites with an Australian twist.

The savoury dry-aged angus sirloin is specially dressed with traditional hollandaise sauce and poached eggs to keep you satisfied.

Another hearty brunch item to choose from is the Smashed Avocado Sourdough Toast.

The dish is a popular way to start the day in Australia. It is a lineup of smoked salmon served on warm sourdough and topped with fresh avocado and over easy egg.

Moreover, the brunch menu also includes the heart-warming Bangers and Mash meal that features succulent garlic-infused beef sausages with a side of buttery mash, cauliflower puree drenched in generous amount of gravy,

As for the dessert selection, customers will be able to pick from two options; The Key Lime Eclairs, filled with layers of creamy filling bursting with zesty key lime kick or their noteworthy Banana Pecan Loaf.

Chief Executive Officer Ng Po Loong of Alter Ego Fusion Cafe said, “We are proud to be the exclusive F&B partner for the Brisbane route promotion. In celebration of this momentous occasion, our restaurant will be bringing a taste of Australia closer to home through the launch of this menu. “

Fresh, fulfilling and packed with flavour, the three-course meal priced at $28 also includes an entrée selection, choices of starters and desserts.

Noteworthy options include their generously-sized Rosemary Lamb Pie – a rich and aromatic pie with a hearty and meaty slow-braised lamb filling flavoured with fresh rosemary and sweet roasted garlic.

Another highlighted entrée offered would be the ludicrously flavoursome Poached Salmon Linguine.

It features fresh salmon poached in olive oil served with crustacean jus topped with decorative salmon skin. The filling is deliciously buttery and the sauce rich and velvety.

For the dessert, diners will be able to enjoy a delicious citrus explosion of Key Lime Pie or a refreshing Pavlova with Berries – a heavenly meringue treat.
