BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN
Cuckoo International Brunei (Cuckoo Brunei) recently donated a deluxe water purifier to the Brunei Darussalam Aids Council (BDAIDSCouncil) as part of its effort to provide Bruneians access to clean and healthy water.
The donation which is under Cuckoo Care Foundation is a community social responsibility platform that allows the South Korean home appliance brand to give back to the community and environment through donations and educational activities, among others.
One of Cuckoo Care Foundation’s many aims is to provide clean and healthy water with safe natural minerals to communities in Brunei, also known as the “Share the Drops of Joy” initiative.
The initiative is targeted to several communities, particularly to non-government organisations (NGOs), community centres and those in need.
Since Cuckoo Care’s official launch in September 2018, Cuckoo Care has donated water purifiers to several communities and community centres, which includes the Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA) as well as several mosques and NGOs across the nation.
