Brunei is suspending the Reciprocal Green Lane Arrangement between the sultanate and Singapore effective 20 May 2021 until further notice.

The Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam through the Ministry of Health is continuously reviewing the risk assessment of all countries/areas/region affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, announced the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in a statement on Wednesday.

“Travellers who have already been approved to enter Brunei under this arrangement can continue to do so until 1900hrs (7pm) on Thursday, 20 May 2021,” said PMO.

After this period, it added, all travellers from Singapore will be required to undergo self-isolation at hotel accommodation for a period as determined by the Ministry of Health’s risk assessment.

All travellers are advised to regularly visit the Prime Minister’s Office website at www.pmo.gov.bn/travelportal for the most updated entry measures. – Analisa Amu
