Brunei will be hosting the Asian Development Tour (ADT) for the second time next year.
The three-day tournament which is also known as Brunei Championships 2019 will be held at the Empire Hotel and Country Club starting April 24.
Reigning champion Kiradech Aphibarnrat is expected to defend his title after winning the contest in March.
He is currently ranked 37th in the Official World Golf Rankings as of this week.
The objective of the golf tournament is to promote Brunei as one of the premium destinations for such sport in the region, and to encourage local talents to take up on golf.
Cash prize for the contest stood at USD75, 000.
The ADT is held with the support of government agencies including Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, as well as members of the private sector.
