Brunei Shell Marketing (BSM) recently announced the first ten winners of the Shell Helix and Shell Rimulo promotion in celebration of the company’s 60th anniversary.

At the first weekly prize presentation ceremony held at BSM’s headquarters, three recipients Muhd Khairulanwar Hj Yunus, Kamsani Kamis and Ahmad Waridi Hj Ahmad, took home return tickets to any destination of choice.

The get to pick either Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore or Manila.

Meanwhile, the seven remaining winners each received the consolation prize Shell Helix Ultra Service Package.

The package which is inclusive of one bottle of 4-litre Shell Helix Ultra, oil filter and labor charges, can be used at any one of the four Shell Helix Branded Workshops available across the sultanate. 

Head of Commercial Business at BSM Mohd Adini Hj Mohd Daini said that the 60th anniversary promotion is intended to encourage the public to acquire products and services from their BSM’s authorised outlets in the interest of consumer safety. 

“This is to give customers the assurance of quality when using genuine Shell products, also to prevent them from being misled or cheated by outlets that may be selling non-authentic products,” he said in an interview with The Bruneian.

One of the top prize winners Muhd Khairulanwar expressed great excitement from winning, having only registered for the lucky draw last week after servicing his vehicle.

The 32-year-old administrative officer from the Ministry of Education commended BSM’s commitment towards quality and safety through its 60th-anniversary promotion believing that the use of authentic products would not only help the maintenance and endurance of vehicle, but also its efficiency.

Sharing the same sentiment was another winner Kamsani Kamis who is still deciding to fly to Jakarta or Singapore.“Even with the lucky draw prizes, I think it is a really good initiative and it is comforting to know that even at 60 years old, BSM still emphasizes quality assurance and consumer safety,” he said.

“…because nowadays there is always the fear of fake and poor quality products that are readily available in the market”, added the 54-year-old bank liaison manager.

Five more rounds of the weekly presentations will be conducted until January 5 next year.

To be eligible for the promotion, customers have to purchase a 4-litre pack of Shell Helix Ultra, Shell Helix HX7 or Shell Helix HX5, or a 5-litre pack of Shell Rimulo R4X from any BSM authorised outlets.

To enter the lucky draw, customers who purchased one of the above-mentioned products are required to scan the QR code provided at the authorised outlets.
