Centre for Islamic Banking, Finance and Management (CIBFM) will be hosting a symposium that gathers local and international Human Resource (HR) specialists to discuss effective strategies for organisations on April 8.

Dubbed the “HR Symposium: Back to Basics”, the event aimed at progressing the country’s human capital development by sharing effective methods and solutions employed by HR practitioners around the region.

The event will feature keynote presentations and panel discussions on topics such as “Linking HR to Organisational Performance”, “Challenges and Future Trends in Learning and Development”, “Building Performance Culture in a Challenging Era”.

Speakers and panelists for the symposium include Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad’s Chief Human Resource Yasir Abdul Rahman, SMR-HR Group Malaysia’s Chief Executive Officer Dr Amat Taap Manshor and Maju Holdings Group’s Chief Executive Officer of Auxiliary Police Unit Dato Hajjah Aishah Mohammad.

Scheduled to be held at the Rizqun International Hotel, the event will be hosted with collaboration from SMR HR Group Malaysia, supported by Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD).
