oncepts Computer now sells affordable power solutions that allow PC users more time to save their data during unexpected blackouts.

The local IT store recently launched three of its new Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) solutions through its partnership with France-based Schneider Electric, at its showroom in Kiulap.

The new American Power Conversion (APC) branded UPS solutions – BV650, BV800 and BV1000 – can be bought a price ranging from $78 to $98.

They are also expected to supply power up to 10, 15 and 17 minutes – from cheapest to the most expensive.  All of these solutions were designed to cater to both commercial and personal use.

Concepts Computer’s Marketing Executive Zul Abdul Rahman highlighted that data protection against unwarranted blackouts is becoming more important.

“Businesses have lost billions of dollars worth of data due to power outages, and most studies does not even take into account personal loss of priceless data like family pictures and videos,” he said.

“Even if these UPS power solutions only provide an extra five minutes at home, that still means you’ll have more time to safely shut down your PCs and save all your personal memories,
