Cuckoo International Brunei recently donated a deluxe water purifier to the Masjid Kg Sungai Besar as part of its ongoing efforts to provide local communities more access to clean and healthy water.
The donation was made possible via the company’s Cuckoo Care Foundation, which is a Cuckoo International Brunei’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) platform to give back to the community – whether through donations, educational services and others.
Also known as the ‘Share the Drops of Joy’ initiative, the foundation is targeted at several communities including non-profit organisations, community centres and the underprivileged population.
Since Cuckoo Care’s official launch in September last year, the foundation has donated water purifiers to a number of organisations including the Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA), Pusat Ehsan and several mosques in the Brunei Muara district.
Handing over the donation to the Imam of Masjid Kg Sungai Besar Pengiran Md Sallehin Pengiran Tejuddin was Cuckoo International Brunei’s Branding and Public Relations Executive Abdul Aziz Ismail.
Other than water purifier donations, Cuckoo Care Foundation has also organized a number of Blood Drives and donations of items of basic necessities to those in need.
