Cuckoo International donated a Cuckoo Deluxe Water Purifier to the Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque in Kg Serusop last week as part of its continuous efforts to provide clean and healthy water to the community.

Present to hand over the water purifier to the mosque’s Imam Haji Muslim was Cuckoo International Brunei’s Managing Director Wong Kim Guan.

The donation was made possible through Cuckoo International’s newly launched Cuckoo Care Foundation.

The foundation is Cuckoo International’s Community Social Responsibility (CSR) platform where Cuckoo International uses to give back to the community and environment through donations, educational activities, cleaning campaigns and more.

One of Cuckoo Care Foundation’s many aims is to provide clean and healthy water with safe natural minerals to communities in Brunei, also known as the “Share the Drops of Joy” initiative.

This initiative is targeted to several communities, particularly to Non-Profit Organisations, Community Centres and those in need.

“Through the establishment of our new CSR initiative, we want to reflect our actions of gratitude by donating clean and healthy water to our community,” said Guan.

“We believe our community is entitled to have access to clean, safe and reliable water across Brunei Darussalam. We hope we can encourage others to rise up and come forward to help build a better and sustainable community in our country”, he added.
