Anjung Saujana invites you to a gastronomical adventure into Brunei cuisine this month with the third installment of its food festival dubbed “Kenali Makanan Kitani” (KMK).

From today until August 11, get your cravings for some local comfort food and ambuyat fixed at the Brunei International Airport, as the restaurant is offering a dinner buffet comprising 30 main courses of Bruneian cuisine, and plenty of appetisers and desserts to choose from.

Some of the food items include ikan liking, sayur umbut masak lemak ikan masin, kuih malaya, kuih puteri mandi, wajid, kerabu pakis and belutak tumis, among others.

“We have live food stations and buffet with our ambuyat stall as the main attraction, featuring the widest selection condiments we have ever served in RBC,” said RBC Acting General Manager Hj Jeff Hadiman Dato Paduka Hj Danial.

Meanwhile, RBC Dining Privelege cardholders also get to have 10 per cent off their meals.

What’s more exciting is that during the promotional period, BIBD cardholder patrons are also eligible for lucky draws. Prizes to be won consist of 50,000, 30,000 and 10,000 hadiah points for first, second and third winners, respectively.

Also, three consolation winners will have the chance to win 20,000 hadiah points each.

The buffet is available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to 10pm. Prices are at B$24.90 for adults and B$14 for children age 5 to 11.

The food festival is aimed at attracting families and individuals who enjoy local Bruneian food in a comfortable, traditional and nostalgic ambience.

“It’s all about Brunei’s traditional food… discovering and rediscovering best of Brunei cuisines, said Hj Jeff Hadiman.

The KMK promotion was officially launched by RBC’s chairman Dr Hj Abdul Manaf Hj Metussin, who is also the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT).

During the launch, RBC also handed over gifts to the Children Cancer Foundation (YASKA). The donation is part of RBC’s corporate social responsibility.
