DST rolls out revised Prima plans

DST yesterday officially announced its Prima postpaid plans at an official launch ceremony exclusive for media.

DST announced that it will offer its customers 4G Prima postpaid plans as low as $20 inclusive of SMS, voice and data bundles. DST also introduced its unlimited 4G Prima postpaid plans starting as low as $85/month.

DST also announced the new Prima Student Plan at B$25 per month which is open for students in higher institutions in Brunei between the ages of 18 to 25 years. One of the highlights of the new 4G Prima postpaid plans is the data bundles which have been revised and upgraded.

Customers can now surf more at low monthly prices. Customers also have the option to double their data by opting to a 12-month contract. For example, the $55 plan can be doubled from 7.5GB to 15GB, the $85 unlimited plan can be doubled from 20GB to 40GB and the $105 unlimited plan can be doubled from 50GB to 100GB, renewed each month during the contract period.

For iPhone and Samsung contract plans offered at DST Branches and DSTIncomm Stores, DST has also revised the 4G Prima postpaid plan bundles with the $35 plan data bundles upgraded to 6GB, $55 plan data bundles upgraded to 15GB and $85 plan data bundle upgraded to 40GB monthly.

Since 1st May 2018, DST is also upgrading its existing Prima postpaid customers to the upgraded bundles automatically in phases. To date, a portion of customers may have noticed that their data bundles have been automatically upgraded, with remaining customers yet to enjoy the bundle upgrades within the next few weeks.

However, existing Prima postpaid customers can still voluntary opt to upgrade their plans to a higher rental or commit to contract for 12 months by visiting any DST Counter. In her welcoming remarks, Dona Johan explains the refresher as a business initiative largely in response to consumer demand in data consumption, especially for Brunei’s unique market.

As part of DST’s 23 Year Anniversary activities and the launch of the refreshed 4G Prima postpaid plans, DST also introduced the “Prima Lucky Draw” where customers both new and existing who register, upgrade their plans, or commit to a contract plan stand a chance of winning the grand prize of B$5,000. The lucky draw will end on Friday July 13.
