Datastream Digital (DST) has revealed its first-ever fixed broadband service, Infinity, as well as revised prepaid and postpaid plans – Easi, Freedom and Mobi.

These products and services were introduced by DST Chief Executive Officer Radin Sufri Radin Basiuni in a ceremony held at The Empire Brunei.

“For the last 24 years, we have connected and hold conversations with customers, friends, families and communities. With over 420,000 customers, we connected the nation and we would enable this connection even further,” said the ceo.

DST ran a month-long campaign ‘Enable Limitless Connectivity, Everywhere’ prior to the unveiling event, creating hype among subscribers.

Having its commitment to serve the communities, DST has materialised and transformed its long-serving products both as new or much duly improved and “worth the wait for its customers”.

“We’ve heard you… and we want you to know that we have listened,” he said, adding that the telco is set to introduce more plans in the coming months.

Infinity

The telco’s newest fibre-to-the-home service gives users an alternative choice of home internet other than their current subscription.

The monthly plans start from as low as $38 per month for a two-year contract with download speed up to 20Mbps and 200GB quota.

Another two plans would be the Infinity 98 and Infinity 148 bearing unlimited data with speed up to 50Mbps.

According to DST, the availability and provision of the fixed broadband service are subject to the subscriber’s installation address being fibre-ready and network availability.

Following popular demand from Easi subscribers, DST has offered better value and easier than ever. Now, customers can enjoy both local SMS and data via its new bundles – Combo 8 and Combo 22.

DST also revised its data-add on packages with more value for money.

Freedom

DST’s mobile wireless broadband GO!broadband is now called Freedom, giving customers the flexibility to talk, text and roam anytime, anywhere in Brunei.

With Freedom 18, Freedom 38 and Freedom 63 subscribers can enjoy the use of data for any occasion.

Mobi

For Mobi, which was previously known as Prima, DST has rolled out three monthly plans – Mobi 30, Mobi 50 and Mobi 80.

Users get to enjoy unlimited local calls and SMS with data quota bundles ranging from 8GB, 20GB and 65GB – nearly triple of their previous data.

Other offerings

DST is also giving exciting promotions for a limited time only as part of its product grand launch.

• Easi users will be rewarded a total of 6GB for over the next three months after downloading the MyDST App from the App Store or Google Play Store.

• Easi customers a free Samsung or Oppo Smartphone for sign-ups to Mobi 30 and Mobi 50.

• DST subscribers who upgrade their current Mobi plan to a higher plan will continue to enjoy the previous plan’s rental price for up to 3 months.

• DST is offering a converge plan, where four Mobi Plans combined, will receive one Infinity 38 with   200GB quota for 24 months for free

The telco will be hosting its DST Carnival on January 31 until February 2 at Bridex Hall 2 in Jerudong.
