Looking for a new place to hang out or celebrate special occasions? Check out E’ Trigue Café and Lounge!
Located at Block B of Rimbun Suites and Residences at Jalan Ong Sum Ping, the latest joint offers affordable Asian and fusion cuisine from as low as $5.
Customers can choose to indulge in their all-day American breakfast set with complimentary juices, tea or coffee or try their ala carte menu that features Grilled Lamb Chops with assorted mixed vegetables to Grilled Salmon with King Oyster Mushroom & Creamy Pasta.
“One of the dishes that people enjoy is the Ayam Penyet Jogjakarta special made with spicy sambal,” said its Manager Andrew Jong, in an interview.
The café is open to tenants at the residence and members of the public while also providing catering services for corporate events, birthday parties, hi-tea or weddings.
Meanwhile, customers who wish to host an event at the café and want to decorate the space can acquire decoration services from the eatery.
“Those who wish to hire these services (decoration) at the café must be tenants who are staying (at the suites and residences) for at least a day with a minimum of 50 pax,” said Jong.
Jong added that E’trigue can accommodate up to 100 people and catering services must be made three days in advance to allow for some preparation.
The current venue of the café was previously a barbeque area and renovations took place in October last year following requests from residents to have a lounge area.
“The café officially opened in December and was named E’trigue where the ‘E’ stands for eating and the word ‘trigue’ was derived from the word ‘intrigue’,” said the manager.
“So far we’ve had positive responses. Schools near the area are starting to take notice of the café and we hope members of the public will enjoy the food and ambiance,” he added.
E’trigue Café and Lounge is open daily from 7am to 10pm meanwhile during public holidays, it opens from 10am to 10pm.
