THE rescue mission to prevent the deadly Na’kruz virus from rapidly spreading was a success as team #BDKFLT managed to save Data Scientist Dr Jaya.
They were able to crack the passcode 34 17 2035 to unlock the scientist who was imprisoned in Lapau being the final location at the fastest time of 18 minutes and 53 seconds.
Some 115 players took part in BAG Networks Sdn Bhd’s race using its first location-based application game EPIDEMIC: RACE TO RESCUE in a recent Bandarku Ceria event in the capital, commemorating the 34th National Day.
The numbers of the passcode hold great importance as they signify the 34 years of Brunei’s independence, 17 years since BAG Networks’ inception and 2035 as we strive towards the country’s Wawasan 2035.
In her speech, Head of Corporate Services at BAG Networks, Hjh Siti Rozana Dato Paduka Hj Md Yunos said that the idea of the gamification was as a result of its initial engagement with the media who suggested them to find a fun and innovative way to reach out and engage with the public.
The champions, comprising of four members, each won a Garmin Vivosport fitness tracker watch while second place winners received a JBL Flip 4 wireless portable speaker each and the second runners-up received a set of SkullCandy wireless earphones each.
Present at the prize presentation ceremony were Chief Executive Officer of BAG Networks, Haslina Hj Mohd Taib and Acting Deputy Chairman of BSB Municipal Board Norman Hj Jalil.
