Mark your calendar this weekend and get ready for some spectacular performances, showing live for the first time ever in Brunei – the Europe Acrobatic Circus and Charity Bazaar.

The much-anticipated show is slated to premiere on June 19 and will run until July 31 at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Skate Park exclusively brought by SGA Media and Marketing (SGA).

The more than one-month-long event will feature a huge circus tent that sits about 700 spectators at one time, showcasing acrobatics, magic shows, and stunts for 90 minutes performed by professionals hailed from Europe, China, Thailand, and Malaysia – serving you almost daily.

SGA General Manager Danny Tay, in an interview, said that the event aimed to encourage tourism in Brunei and for Bruneians to spend their quality time with their family.

“People have been going out and we want to do something for those who are here and have nothing to do. It will also help attract tourists from neighbouring countries,” he said, adding that the circus gives opportunities to local vendors to do business.

There will be over 70 vendor stalls just outside of the main tent selling food, drinks, products, and accessories.

The company is still accepting vendors to join in the fun and rentals throughout the event are at $1200 for middle tents and $1300 for corners.

For the circus show, ticket prices are available for standard seat, hot seat, and VIP seat – all are free seating.

The standard seat is at $15 per adult and $8 per child; hot seat is at $20 per adult and $12 per child; VIP seat is at $25 per adult and $16 per child.

Meanwhile, free entrance for children below 3 years old.

Not only that, but SGA will also be having a Robotics showcase located in a separate area at the Skate Park with entrance fees $5 per adult and $4 per child.

In the showcase, visitors will find a variety of 9 feet tall life-size figures on display and moving mascots, perfect for some photo opportunities among kids and families.

Both events – acrobatic circus and robotics showcase – will be showing every day except for Friday.

“We are giving out free tickets to NGOs like Pusat Ehsan and SMARTER to watch the show where will have some sessions just for them,” said Tay.
