The circus is in town! The Europe Acrobatic Circus and Charity Bazaar kicked off with cheers and roars from more than 500 spectators last night.

The colourful circus which was set near the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Skate Park drew almost a fullhouse on its first show.

Spectators will have a chance to witness the most professional acrobatic skills hailed from Europe, China, Thailand, and Malaysia for the first time ever in Brunei in an air-conditioned 700-seat custom circus tent.

The 90-min show is packed with outstanding performances, featuring exciting and colourful choreography from contortionist acts to high wire stunts that will be enjoyed by children and adults alike.

The show takes the audience on a journey into the lavish costumes and colourful red-and-white design that creates a mix of carnival and wonders.

There were 10 performances that includes amazing physical feats in the air combining all the greatest-hits of familiar circus act such as tightrope walking, contortionist, aerialists and even the Wheel of Death with no breaks in the action.

Audiences can also expect to see extravaganza with colorful costumes, slapstick clowns, magic shows and so much more.

Furthermore, the show is family appropriate, and audiences of all ages are encouraged to attend.

In addition, there will also be over 70 vendor stalls just outside of the main tent selling food, drinks, products, and accessories.

There will be six shows per week – 24 shows over a month.

For the circus show, ticket rates are set accordingly for standard, hot and VIP seats – all are free seating.

The standard seat is at $15 per adult and $8 per child; hot seat is at $20 per adult and $12 per child; VIP seat is at $25 per adult and $16 per child.
