Brunei’s first fast-food restaurant, Express Fast Food celebrated another milestone today with the expansion of its current store in Kiulap.

Customers can now dine-in on the first floor of the branch furnished with a modern ambiance that can seat up to 45 patrons.

The new-look was officiated by Express Manager Alvin Lim who shared that the seating area was upgraded to cater to the consistent crowds.

“Ever since the relaunching and rebranding in November, the response has been well received and we are constantly striving to improve our products and customer care each and every day – without (the customers), Express will not be where it is now,” he said.

“(With the expansion), now more people can dine-in. We will also be including more upgrades in the upcoming months which include a play area for children.”

Following the launch, Express also introduced six new items, marking the fast-food restaurant’s biggest menu expansion.

The new menu includes an old fan favourite, the Beef Frankfurter, hand-battered chicken Nuggets, Chick’n Crunch Burger, Apple Pie, Milo Milkshake and Milo Sundae.

The Beef Frankfurter has first introduced over 20 years ago and is priced at $5 for the meal set or at $2.80 for ala carte.

“Express will also be introducing a classic apple pie, baked fresh daily either served on its own or with vanilla soft serve ice cream which makes an amazing end to any meal here,” said Lim.

The apple pie is priced at $1.60 each. Have it with a vanilla soft serve at just an additional $0.90.

Express is also excited to roll out a new flavour to its milkshake and sundae line up – Milo, priced at just $4.80 for a milkshake and $2.20 for a sundae!

Lim credited the success of the expansion and introduction of the new items to the constant support from their customers.

“Even during the COVID-19 measures were implemented from March to May, the constant support from our customers via takeaway and delivery has shown that we not only weathered the storm but increased our performance as well.”

“Hence today we marked another exciting moment. We also thank our customers for their patience as we worked towards improving our storefront in the past month.

Please continue to support us and who knows where we might end up next!”
