Fitness Zone (FZ) Brunei recently honoured its 25 senior health club members aged 70 above for their commitment in setting good example to the younger generation in leading an active and healthy lifestyle.

The event which took place at FZ Kiulap was held in celebrating the International Day of Elderly as well as to commemorate the health club’s third leg of fund raising activity for Pusat Ehsan.

In a statement, FZ Brunei said the company has always been supportive to such endeavors and in addressing the phenomenon of global ageing by actively promoting the adoption of wellness support for older people and meeting their needs.

FZ Managing Director Wu Chun said age should not be a restriction to live a fit and healthy life.

One of the members and award recipients, Hjh Haziah Dato Hj Azar, considered the club as her second home for not just workout but meeting friends.

“Some of my truest friends I met here at the gym. That is what life is all about. Making friends,” said Hjh Haziah.
