Fitness Zone (FZ) inked a deal iBeauty Parlour as one of the event partners for the upcoming New Me Transformation Challenge 2019.
The beauty establishment collaborates with FZ due to the common goal and mindset in promoting wellness and taking care of one’s self.
Managing Director of FZ Wu Chun said that the gym is pleased with the support given from iBeauty especially being eagers to join along to inspire Bruneians not just the women but also the bigger community.
“… to engage not only in having active lifestyle but as well as encouraging one to groom inside and out. When we start feeling good, we incorporate to doing good,” he said in a statement.
After the signing, FZ introduced its personal trainer Simeon Williams who will be the nutrition and weight management advisor throughout the challenge.
For Williams, he noticed that one of the challenges that people face to losing weight is the assumption that doing cardio and reducing rice intake are the basic needs to do so.
“Reducing a lot of carbs and doing intense cardio, can bring detrimental effects to your health. My recommendation is that one should eat lean meat protein, more vegetables, focus more on healthy fats and consume healthy carbs,” he said.
The personal trainer added that he is excited to see how well the participants’ mindset in the challenge will be, knowing that it is a knockout phase.
Also signing an agreement as the official media partner was The Bruneian.
The challenge which will run for six months starting April 1 until October 12, has two categories namely; Progresif Weight Loss Challenge and RB Fitness Take Off Challenge.
Winners will stand a chance to bring home cash prizes worth $10,000 and gifts worth more than $20,000.
