Ghanim International Corporation (Ghanim International) will be the gateway for Bangladesh to explore partnership opportunities in the Halal industry.

The firm recently signed an agreement with Taj Food Industries Limited, a subsidiary of Nizam Group of Companies from Bangladesh to look for more collaboration opportunities in the fields of Halal consumables.

In a statement, the company said this would not be limited to Halal food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and aquaculture.

Ghanim International’s CEO Dr Nur Rahman said that he was pleased to step into the new venture as it will help his firm to reach out to new markets.

“As Bangladesh is expected to be the third fastest growing economy in the world in 2019, we wish to leverage on this huge market opportunity to introduce bruneihalalfoods products, including packaged food and seafood product,” he said.

“We will also be utilising this channel to establish a footing in the halal pharmaceuticals under bruneihalalpharma brand,” he added.

The CEO is confident that the collaboration will open up significant opportunities for business growth for both parties.
