GHK, the sole distributor of Mitsubishi, recently revealed the all-new Mitsubishi Xpander Cross and the upgraded Mitsubishi Pajero Sport at their showroom in Beribi.
The all-new Mitsubishi Xpander Cross
The Xpander Cross is a family-friendly crossover MPV built with solid SUV styling, comfortable and pleasant drivability, as well as a practical and versatile interior design.
The vehicle is the top variant of the Xpander lineup, which enables users to drive through a wide variety of terrains with confidence, yet without compromising on roominess and comfort from MPVs.
Dynamic Exterior Design
The Xpander has a polarising design that captivates the public with a unique and signature three-tier lighting layout that encompasses the front dynamic Shield design of the car.
Its profile reveals to have a futuristic and sleek look with its integrated spoiler and upswept LED taillights that are neatly arranged.
The most significant change in the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross comes on the outside as the exterior enhancements give the MPV a lot more character.

The MPVs front fascia echoes the Japanese automaker’s Dynamic Shield design philosophy with its signature geometric design, portraying the perfect balance between dynamism and power
Its profile reveals to have a futuristic and sleek look with its integrated spoiler and swept-back daytime running lights for a more streamlined and pronounced look.
Moreover, the robust and protective lower bumper ‘skid plate’ design further emphasizes an SUV image.
To give a wider stance and sense of stability, the Xpander Cross is 50mm wider than the standard Xpander model.
The characteristic SUV-style black wide wheel arches, door garnishes, and larger-profile tires with 17” inch alloy wheels add a sense of protection and emphasize the strong SUV style. It also comes with silver-coloured roof rails for extra loading capacity.
At the rear of the Xpander Cross, a piano black tailgate garnish underneath the rear window and a larger skid plate on the lower part of the bumper enhances a tough image.
Two new colors debut on Xpander Cross – a high-class Graphite Gray metallic and eye-catching Sunrise Orange metallic.

Versatile and comfortable inside
On the inside, the MPV has supportive seven seats that boast quality and refined material that offers support and a wide range of adjustability and flexibility – all contributing to comfortable driving pleasure
The seven-seater also offers comfort at the highest level and even more space for both driver and passenger
The MPV offers the highest level of flexibility and even more space for both driver and passenger with a 60:40 split and the third row with a 50:50 split to expand bigger space of cargo.
The refreshed MPV also provides excellent passenger convenience and a large cargo space thanks to its optimized interior space designing.
The seven-seater is paired with a larger body to maximise cargo and luggage space — enough to hold four gallons of water bottles.
Safety and Performance
In terms of safety features, the Mitsubishi Xpander impresses with its wide range of innovative safety features, which includes Dual Airbags, Anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution system (EBD), rear view camera, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) and more.
Not only that, but the seatbelt safety features have also been improved with the updated pre-tensioner seat belt (with force limiter) designed to recoil instantly during a frontal collision, protecting both driver and passengers and minimising injuries.
The Xpander Cross is built with RISE body (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) whereby the structure of the car is made from high tensile steel to enhance passenger’s protection in the event of collision.
Under the hood, the MPV is powered by a 1.5L, 16 valve DOHC engine with advanced MIVEC (Mitsubishi Intelligent & Innovative Valve timing & lift Electronic control system) offering an improved powertrain refinement.
Moreover, the Advanced Edition is an option for customers which will equip the Xpander Cross with Auto-tailgate and Hardstone of 7” Touchscreen Player with access to the Rear camera.
