A lucky Grand Motors’ customer is set to fly to Australia after winning the grand prize of the “Kia Lucky Drive to Australia” campaign yesterday.

Wasimah Hj Mohammad won an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Melbourne to watch the Australian Open Women’s and Men’s Singles Final in January 2020 including a tour of the host country.

Her face lit up the moment her name was called out during the final stage of the draw held at Kia showroom in Beribi.

Alhamdullilah, this all rezeki (sustenance)… This would be my first time going to Australia and I look forward to sharing this great opportunity with my husband,” she said feeling excited.

The mother of one bought her first car, a black Kia Seltos with Grand Motors in December which qualified her to enter the Kia promotion that ran from November 1 until December 14.

“When my son turned one recently, I wanted to buy a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) to move around and the Kia Seltos seemed like the perfect fit for our family,” she said.

The 28-year old expressed her gratitude for being a part of the campaign and that it has always been her dream to visit the Land Down Under.

The tennis match will commence on January 20 and Wasimah is looking forward to seeing Serena William in action in the women’s round.

The campaign aimed to boost the sports marketing initiatives of Kia and enrich customer’s driving experience.

Moreover, the event also saw the remaining nine finalists bringing home attractive prizes from Kia.

Second prize winner Nurhafizah Matnoor won a 13-inch 128GB Apple Macbook Pro while the third prize winner Mohammad Zul Amali Hj Arpan Shahbudin happily received a 256GB Apple iPhone 11 256GB.

Both customers also bought the all-new Kia Seltos during the promotion period which qualified them to participate in the exciting campaign.

Furthermore, remaining winners each took home consolation prizes comprising of Limited Edition Kia Seltos Merchandise.
