GroMinda to host 36-hour coding competition

Local startup GroMinda Group will be hosting a 36-hour coding competition for entrepreneurs to find solutions to for problems focusing on Brunei’s tourism, financial technology and logistics.

Scheduled to be held from December 7 to 9 at the Progresif HQ, the “Brunei Hacks” which be held in collaboration with Singapore-based firm Glint aimed to upscale Brunei’s business communities to open up new job opportunities for the people.

The contest will pitch entrepreneurs in teams against one another.  They will be mentored by Singaporean coaches and they are to form solutions to each of the problems presented to them.

The teams will also have to present their solutions to a panel of judges consisting industry leaders from the government and the private sector before claiming championship to the contest.
