Over 60 orphans from Brunei-Muara district were treated to a fun-filled school holiday programme under DST’s community outreach flagship “Ihsan Kasih.”

The programme consisted of edutainment activities including visits to Radio Televisyen Brunei (RTB), Sabli Food Industries and Jerudong Park Playground.

The trip began with a visit to RTB’s headquarters in the capital where they were welcomed by RTB’s Head of Corporate Relations Section Muhd Mahdi Hj Yassin.

The children were given a brief presentation on the types of broadcasting activities.  They also spoke on air with a radio DJ.

“During this trip, they will have a better understanding on how current news reaches the public via radio or RTB’s main news bulletin ‘Berita Perdana’,” Muhd Hadi said.
