Fitness Lab BN is harnessing the benefits of exercising by jumping on trampolines aimed at building leaner muscles, delivering both cardio and core strength work out.
The fitness studio which is located on the first floor of Westpark in Gadong opened its doors to the public on Wednesday, specialising in trampoline fitness that helps to increase metabolism, relieve stress and burn calories.
The 45-minute workout is a low impact, high intensity workout that uses mini trampolines and focuses more on arms, legs and abs.
Choreographed to energetic and heart-pumping music, the Trampoline Fitness sessions are led by the studio’s owner Mohalimin Mohamad who is a certified jumping fitness instructor.
“Ten minutes on a trampoline is equivalent to 33 minutes of walking,” said the basic diploma holder in Jumping Fitness endorsed by the Jumping Fitness Associaton in Czech Republic.
He further said that the workouts are combined with dancing, fitness training and jumping movements, making it a unique workout experience.
“Jumping on the trampoline is perfect for taking pressure off your joints and tension in the muscles. It pushes your body weight twice so you don’t need to work hard and stress your body,” said Mohalimin who received the certification in 2018.
“It is a fun way of keeping fit,” he added.
With their motto ‘Strive For Wellness”, the studio also offers Indoor Cycling, Fat Burn Xtreme and Body Workout.
Each trampoline session is priced at $8 per adult and $4 for kids aged four to 12 years old.
Meanwhile, if you bring an extra person, you will get to enjoy the promotional package of $12 for two.
