Khazanah Satu to acquire remaining interest in BAG Networks

KHAZANAH Satu Sdn Bhd announced that it will acquire all outstanding shares of BAG Networks Sdn Bhd (BAG Networks) from its joint venture partner Accenture effective May 30.

In a statement issued by BAG Networks, its Chief Executive Officer Haslina Hj Mohd Taib said that Accenture and BAG Networks has achieved success together over the last seventeen years.

“We have built a track of record of success in technology implementation and consultancy services and now look forward to continuing our mission of establishing BAG Networks as Brunei’s premier IT company,” she said.

She added: “We intend to pursue additional partnering opportunities local and internationally to further expand our reach and to support even more clients. The company remains committed to providing best-in-class client service and ensuring our dynamic approach in upskilling the local IT talent pool to help advance more innovative and sustainable solutions for the future.”

BAG Networks has contributed to the success of key eGovernment and private sector projects. Some of the public sector projects include the Treasury Accounting Financial Information System (TAFIS), the Government Employee Management System (GEMS), the Tourism Masterplan and the System for Tax Administration and Revenue Services (STARS), among others.

While its private sector engagements include an Integrated Financial Management System, IT Infrastructure Consolidation and Technology Refresh, various SAP consultancy and development projects for oil and gas.
