The International Graduate Studies College (KIGS) recently launched its own business incubation facility – the Business, Marketing and Communication Centre – in its bid to equip its alumni with entrepreneurial skills.

The new facility was designed to allow students and former students to exercise their skills in managing their startup projects, practice media broadcasting prowess and showcase their products via expo or exhibitions.

The new incubation centre can also be used as a place to conduct meetings, seminars and conferences – which could help students to develop their products better.

Additionally, KIGS will also be awarding capital funding to ventures that shows strong potential to be pushed into the market, besides giving advice and consultations to students on their projects.

The new incubation facility was launched during the college’s recent Open Day which saw the presence of the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin as its guest of honour.

Besides the centre, KIGS also introduced its new learning management system pilot project, and its revamped website.
