The all-new Land Rover Defender is engineered with class-leading durability and sheer capability that pushes the Defender ahead of the pack.

Tough, capable and unbeatable, the car is built for the adventurous hearts and the off-road enthusiasts.

The Defender is definitely a head-turning beast when on the road, exuding power and dominance thanks to its muscular, captivating looks.

Built for impact

Endurance is integral to the Land Rover Defender’s design DNA.

The SUV is made out of robust materials that are highly durable and larger tyres with increased ground clearance, experience from its strength and composure.

Moreover, the chassis and body architecture has been designed to withstand repeated and sustained impacts, above and beyond the normal standard for SUVs and passenger cars.

With its unique monocoque architecture, the new Defender is the toughest and strongest vehicle that the British automaker has ever created. It has tripled the torsional rigidity of a body-on-frame design.

Not only the vehicle is uncompromisingly tough, but its suspension can be adjusted up to 185mm high, so you can tackle even the toughest terrains in confidence and also improves ground clearance, off-road geometry and traction.

Just as robust as the design itself, the Land Rover Defender is equipped with the largest tyre family of any Rover. The standard 815mm diameter tyres absorb shock, protecting the integrity of the chassis and increase passenger comfort.

Tested to the extreme

The Defender has conquered over 45,000 individual tests in some of the most extreme environment on earth; ranging from 50-degree desert heat and the sub-40-degree cold of the Arctic to altitudes of 10,000ft in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.

Give any challenging situation such as climbing mountains, crossing deserts and withstanding freezing temperatures, the Defender definitely excels with flying colours, thanks to its permanent all-wheel drive and a twin-speed automatic gearbox, centre differential and optional Active Locking Rear Differential.

In addition to that, the Defender features the updated version of the Land Rover’s Terrain Response system that raises the bar level for both off-road ruggedness and on-road comfort.

Robust from the inside out

Strength, durability and highly functional interior architecture are in the Defender’s bloodline.

Throughout the interior, the car has been fitted with robust materials and rubber flooring that are long-lasting and makes it easier to remove mud and dirt.

Another highlight of the Defender’s sheer strength is the interior’s exposed structural surfaces that are finished in a highly durable textured powder coat that extends to the cross-car beam, steering wheel and doors.

All in all, the Land Rover Defender is the ultimate adventure machine that is designed for optimum durability and off-road capability.
