MIXMEDIAGROUP (MMG) recently held its third installation of The Worx, an open day to showcase the organisation’s new products and services as well as connecting with other businesses for potential collaboration.
The one-day event which was held at the Knowledge Hub in the Anggerek Desa Technology Park saw MixMedia’s Deputy CEO Michelle Lo and Deputy CCO Hamdi Metussin presenting the group’s portfolios and what is in-store for 2021 to some 50 guests.
MixMedia’s Senior Marketing and Communications Manager Ana Dzulkefdi said that The Worx was to raise awareness among MMG’s existing and new clients in regards to new products and services that are available.
“There are a number of companies under the group, and each company has a different portfolio or specialty. (Through The Worx) we are showcasing the variety of products that we have, that clients may not be aware of,” she said in an interview with The Bruneian.
MMG is an integrated creative and media group of agencies based in Brunei comprising of MixMedia, Mint, Darussalam Media, SNK Market Data Research, Creative Bench and Global Training Consultancy.
The group offers professional services in various industries including creative and multimedia, marketing, branding, social media, production, digital devices, digital advertising, event listing platform, event management, information technology, editorial news and coverage, market data research, talent sourcing and training consultancy.
Ana continued that The Worx is also a platform to introduce to clients new products that are available under the group, such as the Mixel+, a contactless and sanitiser dispenser with a digital screen, a natural evolution of the group’s flagship Mixel Digital Standing Display.
“We always try to enhance and update our products, adding more into the Mixel suite of devices to include the Mixel Mini, the Mixel Smartboard and one of our latest, the Mixel+ which is a timely device during the current pandemic,” she explained.
The senior marketing and communications manager also said that the agency has been consistent in innovating some of their products and services, following the current trends in technology and market demand. An example would be its latest VR technology device, the ClassVR.
During the one-day event, new and existing clients had the opportunity to experience first-hand the interactive ClassVR.
It is the world’s first complete virtual and augmented reality set originally designed for students featuring standalone headsets, and a large library of content that can be wirelessly managed and delivered simultaneously.
The application, however, goes beyond the classroom, as the ClassVR can also carry digital simulations of lifelike scenarios that can be used for industry training purposes.
“Ultimately, the main objective of The Worx is for us to connect and strengthen our relationship, with our clients, our partners. It is so we can engage with them and for us to look into the future on how we can help strengthen each other’s businesses,” added Ana.
Chief Executive Officer of MMG Azlan Ahmad in his welcoming remarks reiterated the group’s commitment towards transforming and strengthening businesses through technological solutions.
“Being the biggest creative media agency (and hoping to be the best around too), our mission has always been the same, creating the industry-standard solutions for your business,” he said.
He added: “Our Senior Management and Business Development teams are always looking for opportunities to explore new services and products, especially in areas of digitisation and digitalisation.”
In attendance during the third edition of The Worx were the group’s long-term and new business partners from corporations and SMEs such as Royal Brunei, Imagine, Standard Chartered Bank, BWN Express as well as government offices such as the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism and Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
The Worx is an event that the group is planning to host every year moving forward.
Any businesses that are interested to be invited to future The Worx or to get more information are welcomed to contact any one of the group’s business development managers.
