Mixmediaworx (MMW) has promoted five senior team members, in its bid to implement a new corporate structure that is expected to improve its business management and operations.
With the new appointments, Hamdi Matussin who has been MMW’s Assistant Creative Director since 2009 is now the firm’s Deputy Chief Creative Officer, whose role now include managing the creative team. He is also expected to cultivate the overall creative direction for the agency.
MMW’s former IT Support Officer Shukri Damit is now the agency’s new ICT Manager, whose responsibilities now include ensuring that ICT operations remained smooth, with business objectives being well-met.
Meanwhile, Khairul Matshah who joined the company as an Account Officer in December 2016 is now MMW’s new Finance Manager whose role include monitoring the agency’s financial health, besides managing its monetary operations.
Former Graphics Designer Alia Alkaff is now the agency’s new Art Director whose responsibility include supervising the designing team, besides coordinating related activities with other creative departments. She has been working with the agency since the last three years.
Finally, Azhar Mohammad who joined MMW as a Graphics Designer in 2015 is now the agency’s Senior Graphics Designer. His tasks include developing concept ideas and directions for projects, assigning the right resources and overseeing creative processes of each projects to ensure they are aligned with client’s requirements.
MMW CEO Azlan Ahmad said that each team member has reached a milestone in their careers, and believed that the new appointments will be a valuable step in steering the agency to a better direction.
MMW is a full-service creative agency incorporated in 2009 and has been associated with TBWA\Worldwide, one of the leading global advertising companies since 2010.
It recently hit another milestone when it won the prestigious “Asia’s Most Promising SME Award” by ACES in Singapore in October last year – recognising the agency as an SME in Asia that has clear business direction and growth.
To date, MMW has over 30 creative members with majority of them being locals, which is also part of the agency’s ongoing localisation effort towards having a 100 percent Bruneian workforce by 2020.
