MMW, a local-based creative and brand management agency, has introduced an advertising grant to help local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) market their products and services better, amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Under the grant, Brunei-registered MSMEs from any industry can apply for media support in the form of Mixel Nationwide advertising package with a collective media value of $48,000.
The support can be utilised over a period of two to six months, depending on the objectives of the MSMEs that applied for the grant to help business owners broaden their reach and get the maximum exposure they need via the Mixel Nationwide digital media platform.
Mixel Nationwide is an advertising platform managed by MMW which consists of a network of digital standing screens displaying both static and video advertisements at 22 prime locations across the country such as the Brunei International Airport and The Mall Gadong, among others.
Due to the digital nature of the advertisement, selected MSMEs can change their advertising content as and when needed during the grant period.
The agency in a statement said that during this challenging time, many businesses need to alter their marketing strategies and implement budget cuts to stay afloat.
MMW’s Senior Manager of Marketing Communications Ana Dzulkefdi in an interview said that as an MSME, the company understands how instrumental the MSME community is to the country’s growth.
“This is our way of giving back to this growing community. Many businesses including ourselves had to re-assess our strategy by being more creative and innovative with our approach to reach our target customers,” she said, adding that they are targeting 20 businesses for the grant.
Interested applicants are required to fill in an e-form via MMW’s website at http://mmwcreative.com/msmegrant.html from now until June 2.
MSMEs that are shortlisted for the advertising grant will be notified the following week via SMS or email.
Interested MSMEs can get more information about the advertising grant on MMW website, or send their enquiries via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 223 8380 ext. 805.
