NBT Brunei has officially unveiled the all-new face-lifted Toyota Avanza at all of its three showrooms recently.
The Japanese carmaker Toyota brings modularity and practicality into the new Avanza with its fresh new design and styling.
On the surface, the seven-seater is still loyal to the vein of its predecessor.
The design changes of the Avanza include a bigger front grille, side skirting and a redesigned taillights that are linked to red reflectors on the tailgate, giving the car a more aggressive-looking front fascia.
It also comes with bi-LED headlamps, a shark fin antenna, and a roof spoiler, among others.
The smart-looking multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) packs quite a few surprises – it is equipped with smartphone connectivity for both iOS and Android systems and a top-notch display audio touchscreen infotainment system.
Moreover, the cabin shows that MPV has upped its game with a sleeker interior and refreshed changes to the layout of the dashboard and a new centre console.
Under the hood, the Toyota Avanza is powered by two variants, the 1.3 DOHC -VVT-I engine generating a 95hp and 121nm of torque or the 1.5L DOHC -VVT-I that generates 103hp and 136nm of torque — for better fuel consumption and a smooth drive.
Furthermore, mated to the engine are two gearbox options—a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic transmission.
The latest Avanza also promises better value and comfort for both passengers and driver.
Safety features of the Toyota Avanza include dual SRS airbags, anti-locking braking system, three-point seatbelts, ISOFIX child seat anchor, Parking sensor, among others.
