Nestle Professional, an arm of the Swiss multinational food and drink conglomerate is keen on bringing new products into Brunei, seeing great potential in the sultanate’s thriving food and beverage industry.

Several representatives from the group were in Brunei recently for the BIMP-EAGA Tertiary Industry Forum Showcase including its District Sales Executive in-charge of Miri, Bintulu and Brunei Pang Chin Hoon.

Speaking to The Bruneian, Pang said Nestle Professional is keen to establish a stronger footprint in the sultanate, especially through a number of new products recently introduced into its portfolio.

“We cater mostly to the industry players in food and beverage, providing beverage solutions that will help advance and expand their day to day menus (and) we see great potential for this in Brunei,” Pang said.

“In fact, by next January, we are looking forward to bringing in other new products into the Brunei market, so there is a great opportunity for us here.”

Among the products recently introduced was the Coffee-Mate Liquid Creamer Concentrate Pump Bottle which was developed to provide a healthier alternative to condensed milk.

“We have gotten approval from the Ministry of Health, to bring this product into Brunei, so we are quite excited about how this product will perform here, especially for food and beverage establishments that have been relying on regular condensed milk,” said Pang.

Coming in three distinct flavours; Sweetened Original, Hazelnut and French Vanilla, these liquid creamers are Halal, lactose-free, contains no cholesterol and are stored in a 1.5-litre pump bottle which helps speed up service and reduces mess.

He added that with its non-removable pump, the liquid creamers emphasize food safety, and is also cost-effective with one pump or serving costing about nine cents. Each bottle of the Coffee-Mate Liquid Creamer Concentrate has about 300 pumps, with a nine-month shelf life that does not require refrigeration.

Pang went on to say that they also intend to bring Nestle’s newest commercial coffee machines and beverage dispensers into Brunei.

Ranging from semi-automatic to fully-automatic, these machines combine convenience and speed, which will help improve the consumers’ experience.
