Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings (IITH) and Darussalam Holdings today introduced their new products; a financial protection Takaful Khairat and mobile applications Insurans TAIB, iManasik Haji & Umrah and iBrunei.
These were launched at the sidelines of their 25th anniversary celebration held simultaneously at the International Convention Centre (ICC).
The Takaful Khairat financial protection scheme covers up to $5000 for funeral costs burdened by family members who lost their loved ones due to accidents or illnesses.
Eligible individuals participating in the scheme must be aged between 18 and 65 years old with a yearly contribution of $15.
Meanwhile, those who are 17 years old and below need to have consent from their parents prior to taking the new plan.
IITH also launched its Insurans TAIB new mobile app that features an array of its products, aiming to improve its public reach while at the same educate them to further understand the importance of financial plans.
The mobile app also allows IITH to respond to enquiries within 48 hours after customers made their first contact via their smart phones.
Meanwhile, Darussalam Holdings had also pushed for its mobile applications namely, the iManasik Haji & Umrah and iBrunei.
The iManasik Haji & Umrah is a guideline for those who wish to perform the Haj and Umrah, with the iBrunei serves as a mobile directory that helps tourists find interesting places in the sultanate.
Despite being static at the moment, Darussalam Holdings planned to add interactive features as the product progresses as it was developed to improve its interaction with the public.
Both companies are subsidiaries of Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB).
Launching these products at the ICC earlier today was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
