A TOTAL of 125 Indonesian children recently underwent a two-day camping programme to teach them the fundamentals of survival at the Berakas Forest Reserve.
Organised by the Indonesian Community in Brunei (PERMAI), the event saw children learning the basic aspects on how to survive and adapt themselves in nature, while at the same time keep themselves up with the Islamic life principles.
Among the activities included in the programme were motivational talks, with one of them focusing on tips and advice for children in facing their challenges in this digital era.
Additionally, few games and martial arts performances were also arranged, including an outbound hike around the Biodiversity Park in Berakas.
