HEAD over to the Freshco Batu Satu Shopping Centre and treat your taste buds to delicious variety of Filippino cuisine prepared for you.

Freshco Management is working with the Philippines Embassy to host a cultural fair displaying various cultural handiworks, and a live-cooking demonstrating Filippino’s prowess in the culinary scene.

Traditional hand-woven textiles and attires including the barong tagalong, piña-barong, t’nalak, yakan and sinamay will also be available for view and purchase at the three-day fair, which starts from April 27 to 29.

The Philippines Cultural Fair aims to introduce the taste and tradition of the country to Bruneians, while at the same time teach them how to make some of the fine cuisine.

It also serves as an opportunity for the Philippines community to come and celebrate their culture together.
