Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) last week held an exclusive tour of its facilities for the members of the Diplomatic Corps.
The hi-tea event, titled “We Care”, was held to showcase the centre’s initiative in providing healthcare through efficient and people-centred services.
Presentations of the various medical services were delivered by its specialists prior to the tour.
This was then followed by the official launch of the centre’s “We Care” video advertisement.
Dr Mazrul Adimin Haji Besar, the PJSC’s Executive Director, said that the “We Care” campaign is part of the centre’s efforts in providing high quality healthcare services and to become a leading and innovative medical specialised centre.
Present to officiate the launch was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Dr Haji Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah, in his capacity as the Chairman of the PJSC.
The state-of-the-art hospital includes three centre of excellences comprising of The Brunei Cancer Centre, the Brunei Neuroscience, Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre and the Maxillofacial, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Centre.
The hospital offers patients with neurological and other injuries and illnesses access to specialised care and the latest in medical technology.
The centre is among the first to employ highly advanced, cutting-edge technology such as Variant Ture Beam and Edge.
Dr Mazrul hopes that the “We Care” event would help recognise PJMC as an advanced medical centre, as well as to establish new cooperative ties and future strategic partners within the healthcare centre.
