Progresif Cellular casted colourful spells at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre last night as it brought 120 local dancers and creative talents to its annual Cultural Night show.

Held in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 72nd birthday, Progresif Cultural Night showcased a diverse range of national dances, picturing the harmonious co-existence of culture within the sultanate and the region.

Apart from the Bruneian traditional dance, the stage revolved around Chinese, Indonesian, Thai, Malaysian, Indian, Filipino, Pakistani, New Zealand and, for the first time, the British traditional dances, with the telco also including the contemporary dances at the showcase.

The highlight of the event was the performance entitled ‘Innovation (Animation) Dance’, which visually expresses the intersection of technology with arts and culture.

Members of the public were also presented chances to win attractive prizes ranging from top up credits and mobile phones.

About 18 local food vendors including Meshi Bowl, Wings & Drummettes, Alya Jasmine Little Kitchen, Mj & Co and Kyna Popsicle were also on hand to delight the public.

Attending the event as the guest of honour was a board member of Progresif, Edzwan Zukri Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Adnan, with Progresif CEO Paul Taylor and other members of the management accompanying him.
