Technology and communications company Progresif opened its first Progresif Experience Store at the Times Square Shopping Centre yesterday, promising customers and fans a reimagined retail experience complete with an in-store café and a co-working space.
Speaking during the launch event on Monday, Progresif Chief Sales Officer (CSO) Junaidi Bahrum said that the key theme of the telco brand’s new flagship is “Delivering on the promise to transform retail and drive progress for Brunei”.
“From online subscription to our services with to-your-doorstep delivery to mobilising our sales staff into Street Teams that visit customers in their own communities, to roadshows and pop-up stores, Progresif has made a big effort to make our services more accessible, affordable and convenient,” he said.
“It’s a customer-first mentality that prioritises their experience, and begins a transformation of Brunei retail that aims to progress the nation towards our 2035 national goals,” he added.
With a number of unexpected and non-traditional features, the retail transformation is set to change the reason for customers to visit especially with the store’s new in-store cafe, a co-working space for start-up partners, movable digital signage and Progresif Experience Pods which act as customer consultation areas.
Customers old and new can also look forward to the telco brand’s new merchandise line which will be displayed for purchase at the new store. From clothing, accessories to mobile accessories, exciting products await fans of Progresif.
Furthermore, staying true to their promise of supporting entrepreneurship as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, the flagship store’s in-built ‘Concept Café’ will host local food and beverage startups.
The first recipient of this collaboration is local coffee shop Bicara from Belait who will be operating the in-store café for the first six months. The store also features local sneaker and youth lifestyle brand 27SupplyCo to display 10 pairs of their most popular sneakers.
“Along with the inclusion of Bicara and 27SupplyCo, the future holds exciting prospects for youth collaboration, and with the launch of bespoke Progresif merchandise which fans of our brand can purchase…
“We are also looking at doing collaborations where local designers can partner with us to do brand crossovers and capsule merchandise collections,” continued Junaidi.
With the launch of the new store, Progresif has set up a number of exciting campaigns and giveaways.
Customers who make payments and purchases with a minimum of $50 at the store from 22 – 23 March 2021 will participate in a lucky dip and get discounts on hoodies and merchandise.
