QAF Auto recently organised an open day for the public to have closer look at its wide range of pre-owned vehicles in an event dubbed QAF Tamu Used Car Fair.

The sole importer of BMW and MINI in the sultanate previously introduced its website Qafusedcars.com in November and decided to have the inaugural fair for public walk-ins, inquiries and purchases.

The establishment’s used car sales consultant Syafiq Sani said that vehicles on display at the event were not only theirs but also from private individuals who need a space to display their pre-owned car.

“We also provide slots, without any charges, to those who want to sell or display their car to their own clients at our parking area. We want people to join the fun with us and with our established brand, it will give people the confidence to purchase the used cars,” he said.

The tamu which was held at QAF Auto showroom in Beribi served as an avenue not only for the used cars but also QAF Auto’s new state-of-the-art vehicles.

QAF Auto General Manager Sivakumar Krishnan said that QAF Tamu Used Car Fair is a place to physically display and advertise used cars by different owners while the idea originated from the word ‘Tamu’ where all traders and buyers meet.

Moreover, the German vehicles and British-crafted automobile distributor continued to have merriment at its centre the next day as it celebrated “BMW Customer Day”.

Guests were entertained with various activities for kids and families such as BMW Kids’ Track, Face painting, Nail spa for the ladies, haircuts for the gents, BMW Aftersales presentation on BMW Services and Products as well as many exciting prizes, among others.

“We are delighted to have you and appreciate your presence to celebrate this day, created just for our customers to show how much we appreciate you. We really appreciate your presence and I know some of you have traveled long distances to be here, from KB and Seria,” said Sivakumar.
