QAF Auto Sdn Bhd, the sole importer of BMW vehicles in the sultanate, recently received three awards from BMW Group Asia at the regional Aftersales Dealer Conference in Bangkok, Thailand.
The dealership received the “Best Retailer in Customer Care” in the Importer Region Asia Pacific, “Best Customer Satisfaction Service Performance in Aftersales” and “Best Performance 2017 in Aftersales” for significantly improved performance compared to the previous year.
Speaking to media during a press conference at the showroom yesterday, General Manager of QAF Auto Sivakumar Krishnan extended his appreciation to all of its customers in the sultanate for the support given.
“It is the first time ever in our history as an importer in Brunei for nearly 27 years to receive three awards all at once and it was a great honour. Our customers are our number one priority and it is our responsibility to get to know our customers and consistently to provide them with the quality customer service. We are very much into that,” he said.
He added: “In 2017, we proactively implemented a turnaround project where we started a slogan called ‘Your Satisfaction is Our Commitment’. We took important steps to ensure that we are successful in our effort to improve customer service at all touch points even before we engage with our customers.”
Sivakumar also noted that the BMW importer has focused a lot on improving their soft skills for its sales team.
“It is especially in the area of providing personalized service to new and existing customers. Sales is not about taking a calculator asking what is the price and discounts, it is about giving an experience to the customers how a BMW works. That’s the approach we did,” added the general manager.
The awards programme celerates the efforts of the regional BMW retail network and underlines the role dealers play in the company’s success.
It also recognises the long-term efforts of the BMW Group and the retail network to set new benchmarks in sales around the region and strengthen’s the dealers leading position in their home markets.
